Sweta Butala, MBA, SHRM-CP
Sweta Butala, MBA, SHRM-CP, is an Associate Consultant within the firm's Outsourcing practice. She is the point of contact for clients and provides full spectrum HR support and assistance in benefits, payroll, job changes, compensation actions, HR policies, learning/training, performance management, employee relations and much more.Sweta has nearly 10 years of HR experience in retail, nonprofit and government subsidiary industries working in a variety of roles. Her experience involves full cycle HR services including but not limited to new hire onboarding, offboarding, new employee orientation, payroll, performance management, benefits administration, LOA management, compliance and policy development. She has managed payroll for 1000+ employees on a weekly basis, and her expertise lies in performance management, new hire onboarding and offboarding and employee relations.
Previously, Sweta worked as an HR Coordinator for a Pennsylvania state department of education subsidiary and managed new hire onboarding and performance management. In addition, she worked as a partner with 17 north central Pennsylvania school districts for staffing, training and development. She also served as an ambassador for the organization to promote a culture of inclusivity through various training and development programs. Sweta has also served as a change agent and assisted employees in navigating change, providing counseling and mentoring. Her major focus is to become a people’s partner and build strong relations across all organizational levels, as well as build a reputation for creating a pleasant employee experience.
Sweta completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Wilkes University with a focus on HR management. Throughout her career, she has been recognized for creating and implementing best practices in HR. She is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), leadership development succession strategist and is currently working toward a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certification. She loves to travel, swim, read books and cook in her free time.
