Lisa Wright Ponce leverages over 25 years of nonprofit and private sector experience in her role as Senior Consultant. Lisa has proven capacity for strategically assessing diverse organizations and designing multi-faceted workplace solutions. She has expertise in organizational culture, as well as workforce and functional assessment, combined with a deep understanding of change management. This experience has positioned Lisa as a strategic advisor to nonprofit executives who are undertaking business and cultural transformation, including changing their operational models. Lisa frequently serves as interim HR leader. In her capacities as advisor and leader, she helps clients identify and solve their most complex human capital challenges, to include: talent acquisition, talent management, talent assessment, competency development, succession planning and career path development. Lisa has also successfully completed engagements in human capital strategy design, executive and staff performance management, training and development, and human resource compliance and functional assessment.
For seven years prior to Nonprofit HR, Lisa served as Vice President, Human Resources in a privately held real estate firm. Stepping into a newly created executive leadership role, Lisa developed and led outcomes-driven human capital strategy in response to the firm’s rapid growth. She grew the HR team from three to seven professionals to better align with the needs of the organization’s 1,000 employees.
Lisa holds a master’s degree in Human Resources from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University.
