Chantel Simms, MBA, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Chantel Simms, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is a transformational talent strategist and leader who champions workplace culture and influences innovation. Chantel's experience includes over two decades of establishing values-centered workplace climates and promoting standards of excellence within nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Chantel is passionate about cultivating positive employee experiences through employee wellness, engagement, empowerment, and coaching and development. Her core expertise includes helping organizations shape equitable and inclusive cultures by promoting authenticity, diversity, innovation, and aligning the employee experience to organizational core values and strategic goals.

Prior to joining Nonprofit HR, Chantel coached and mentored executive teams and diverse groups of talent through successful organizational transformations, human resources initiatives and strategy to actualize organizational goals. She led talent management and talent acquisition in support of the company’s strategic goals.

Chantel is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership and Organizational Innovation from Marymount University. She currently holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Averett University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Organization and Human Resource Development from the University of Mary Washington. Chantel is also a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), a certified Yellow Belt in Diversity and Inclusion through Six Sigma Global Institute (SSGI) and maintains a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
