What attracted you to Nonprofit HR? I was drawn to Nonprofit HR because of its dedicated focus on serving the nonprofit sector, an area where I feel deeply connected and passionate. The organization’s commitment to advancing an inclusive and equitable workplace aligns with my personal and professional values. I admire how Nonprofit HR not only supports talent management in this sector but also leads by example in advocating for HR practices that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee well-being. The opportunity to contribute to meaningful, mission-driven work with an impact is incredibly motivating to me. What is your favorite aspect of talent management? My favorite aspect of talent management is leveraging AI to revolutionize how we identify and engage top talent. Utilizing AI best practices, I have been able to redefine traditional sourcing methods, making the process more efficient and aligned with organizational needs, such as cultural fit or leadership potential. I take great pride in my role, which uniquely positions me to help an organization find not just employees, but future leaders. The opportunity to deploy these innovative tools in a mission-driven environment like Nonprofit HR excites me, as it allows for a significant impact on the organization’s growth and success through strategic talent management. |
What is the coolest thing you’re working on right now and why?
The coolest project I’m leading is the development and delivery of a specialized course on AI applications in talent acquisition. This initiative is particularly exciting as it showcases our firm’s capabilities in leveraging advanced AI technologies and sets a new standard for innovation in our field. Having the opportunity to lead this course allows me to share my passion for AI with Nonprofit HR’s community, and it provides a platform to demonstrate how these technologies can transform talent acquisition.

How do you see talen acquisition changing in the next five to ten years?
As we look ahead to the next 5-10 years, HR is set to undergo a major transformation, largely driven by artificial intelligence. AI will revolutionize the way we handle talent acquisition, moving from traditional methods to more predictive and adaptive strategies. This shift will allow us to anticipate workforce trends and prepare proactively, ensuring our strategies are aligned with both current needs and future growth. As we integrate AI into talent acquisition practices, it’s vital that we keep our focus on the human elements, ensuring technology serves to enhance rather than replace the human touch. In embracing AI, we’re not just adopting new tools but leading the charge towards a new era of search.
What was your favorite thing to do as a kid?
As a kid, I loved playing soccer, creating stories and dreaming up adventures with my toys. These weren’t just ways to pass the time; they were the first steps in learning how to tackle problems creatively and work as part of a team. My childhood curiosity has stayed with me, shaping how I approach challenges today with a mix of seriousness and the simple joy of discovering something new. I’m driven by the thrill of not knowing and finding out, much like when I was a child eager to explore every nook and cranny of the world around me. This curiosity is more than just professional, it’s about connecting with that sense of wonder we all had once. It’s about making sense of the world in a way that keeps the joy of discovery alive.
What is a fun fact about you?
A fun fact about me that might surprise people is that I am currently developing a comic book story. This project allows me to channel my passion for storytelling and creativity into a form that’s both expressive and immersive. Through this comic, I explore complex characters and themes, weaving a narrative that reflects my deep interest in narrative structure and character development. As an aspiring author, this project represents a significant step in my journey towards creative expression.
What is your favorite quote?
One of my favorite quotes is, “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are,” by Anaïs Nin. It really speaks to me because it’s about understanding that our views are shaped by who we are. It’s a reminder to always keep an open mind and try to see things from different perspectives.
