What attracted you to Nonprofit HR? Nonprofit HR has a great reputation in the community and I loved the mission-driven focus on the work the firm facilitates. What’s your favorite aspect of talent management? When I have clients and candidates that share how my efforts positively impacted their experience. I feel that Executive Search is a natural fit for the skills I’ve acquired over the many years I have been in recruiting. This role gives me the opportunity to combine both my skills in sales and communication to achieve tangible results that position me to add value to my team. My sales background has also trained me to be client-centric and focused, and in this role, I get two clients to manage, our client organizations and our candidates. The hiring process can be intense, and it is rewarding to hear how my efforts and the efforts of my teammates positively impacted their interview and engagement experience. What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?A search that is the result of a client I landed in 2021. This now makes two searches I have brought in through my networking. The latest of the two has also resulted in additional business opportunities for other lines of business in the firm. That’s pretty cool to me! How do you see HR changing in the next five-to-ten years? I think it will take on a more people/culture-centric focus to drive retention. |
