Washington, DC – Nonprofit HR Solutions (NPHRS) today announced the promotion of Sidney Abrams to Managing Director, HR Consulting Services. The new position has been created to allow the firm to provide more dedicated account management with more personalized attention and strategic partnering for its clients. The DC-based human resources consulting firm is in a period of rapid growth, which has created the need restructure and promote staff.

“We created the position in response to our growing portfolio of work and our maturity as a firm having been in existence now twelve years,” said Lisa Brown Alexander, President/CEO of NPHRS. “This new role will provide additional leadership capacity within the firm and allow us to more effectively manage both current and future client work.”

Sidney Abrams, SPHR, brings nearly 20 years of HR leadership experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. He is highly versed in human resource strategy and implementation, with success in the disciplines of compliance, HR technology, employee/labor relations, performance management and policy development. Abrams specialized in HR start-ups and turnarounds, twice establishing human resource departments at companies without prior HR presence. Prior to consulting, he created the HR function at the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization establishing policies and creating an employee-centric organizational culture.
