Firm’s rapid growth continues the need for hiring
Nonprofit HR announced the recent hirings of Troy Cassel, Leslie Walbridge, Heather de la Riva and Stephanie Martinez. The firm continues to hire staff to meet the needs of its growing nonprofit client base.

The new hires expand the firm’s bandwidth in the areas of internal operations, HR outsourcing and recruitment.
Leslie Walbridge has joined the firm’s Washington, DC office as the Office Ambassador/Staffing Services Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operations support and serve as the first point of contact to incoming callers and visitors (clients, employees and potential staffing candidates). She will work closely and in collaboration with Nonprofit HR’s staffing consultants to ensure impeccable, proactive and high-quality operations and staffing support is consistently delivered.
Stephanie Martinez, PHR is the newest HR Consultant at the firm’s Chicago office. She provides on-site human resources consulting services to Chicagoland clients. Stephanie’s 13 years of experience include working for organizations such as The Chicago Public Schools, The University of Chicago and most recently Mesirow Financial.
Troy Cassel has also joined the firm’s Washington, DC office as Director of Business Operations. He will manage a broad portfolio of responsibilities for all of Nonprofit HR’s business operations activities including accounting and finance, office management, information technology and internal HR administration. Troy brings a strong background in business operations and finance to the firm including his work with two major nonprofits – the American Cancer Society and Freedom House, as well as a for-profit consulting firm based in Philadelphia.
Heather de la Riva has been hired as the Lead HR Consultant for The HR Cooperative and is taking the lead on managing the firm’s virtual clients out of the Washington, DC office. The HR Cooperative is Nonprofit HR’s virtual HR outsourcing platform. In her previous role as the Senior Director of Human Resources for Americans for Prosperity Foundation, she built an HR structure and operation from the ground-up and assisted in the organization’s growth from 40 to just over 300 staff.
