Rahman Branch Named Chief Executive Officer of ERFSC
Impact Search Advisors by Nonprofit HR partnered to lead search of the C-suite role
Washington, D.C., October 30, 2024 — The East River Family Strengthening Collaborative (ERFSC), a nonprofit dedicated to providing family-focused and person-centered services to help youths, families and seniors live a stable and sufficient life, has named Rahman Branch as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1. Impact Search Advisors by Nonprofit HR, a leading search firm specializing in the social sector, partnered with ERFSC on the executive placement. A dedicated resident of Washington, D.C.’s Ward 8, Rahman Branch has spent over two decades championing equity, education and community empowerment across the District of Columbia. Washington, D.C. is divided into 8 wards. ERFSC serves both Wards 7 and 8 to provide tools and skills to increase individual self-sufficiency and family stabilization. With deep roots in Ward 8, which is in the southeastern quadrant of the city, and an unwavering commitment to its residents, Rahman brings a dynamic vision and transformational leadership style to the ERFSC. His belief in a people-centered approach—focusing on families, youth and seniors—mirrors ERFSC’s mission to strengthen communities and uplift families. “We are thrilled to congratulate Rahman Branch as the new CEO of the East River Family Strengthening Collaborative,” said Lisa Brown Alexander, Founder & CEO of Nonprofit HR. “Hakimu Davidson, the Senior Consultant who led this search, and our entire Impact Search Advisors team worked diligently to find a leader who embodies the values and mission of ERFSC. Rahman’s extensive experience and deep commitment to community make him exceptional for this role.” “I am both honored and excited to step into this new role with the East River Family Strengthening Collaborative,” Rahman said. “Together, we will build on the remarkable work of my predecessor, Mae Best, while finding new, innovative ways to serve our community. I look forward to collaborating with our team, partners, and residents to make an even greater impact in the lives of Ward 7 and 8 families.” |
