She actively contributes to the strength of the sector and has served as a former advisor to Fund the People and Equity in the Center initiatives. 

Lisa has demonstrated success as an entrepreneur and business leader. Chamber of Commerce, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Prince George’s Cultural Arts Foundation, and is a former board member of the D.C. Rape Crisis Center and Community Youth Advance (formerly Mentoring to Manhood). She frequently addresses national conferences and events and has authored scores of articles in nonprofit and HR publications on human resources issues. Lisa was named one of Washington DC’s Top 25 Minority Business Leaders by the Washington Business Journal. She was also recognized by Washington SmartCEO Magazine as a Brava! Award winner. The Brava! Awards celebrate the distinguished achievements of 25 of Greater Washington’s women business leaders. Lisa was also named to the list of Power50 Women awarded by Walker’s Legacy.
