Washington, DC – July 2012 – Nonprofit Executive Search Solutions has successfully placed Paula B. King, an experienced human resources executive, as Director of Human Resources with NeighborWorks America.

Selected from a very talented and diverse applicant pool, King brings an impressive background and array of skills to NeighborWorks America’s management team, including significant experiences spanning the nonprofit sector.

Most recently, King worked for the U.S. Institute of Peace (USIP) as Vice President for Operations & Chief HR Officer, and previously for the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) and Children’s National Medical Center. During her career she has developed many HR related initiatives while simultaneously balancing efforts to fine-tune existing programs, plans and operations.

King earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Maryland, and she holds dual certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Certified Professional (IPMA-CP) — International Public Management Association for Human Resources.  Additionally, she is a Certified Mediator. King has also completed significant human resources coursework and professional skills development at the graduate level.
