ABOUT MEDTECH COLOR
Founded in 2017, MedTech Color aims to build a cohesive community of leaders of color in the medical device industry by increasing the number of underrepresented persons who enter and stay in the field and drive thought leadership. Our mission is achieved by granting access to a diversified MedTech Professional network, increasing the number of people of color who enter and stay in MedTech and adding tangible value to the MedTech Ecosystem via thought leadership.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an individual who shares our values to lead our organization’s rapid growth and to design and direct strategic actions that support and enhance operations. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, as well as exceptional fundraising, planning and organizing abilities. The Executive Director must have the ability to maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrate a strong results orientation and team building skills, achieve organizational goals, possess strong fundraising skills, and maintain comprehensive financial practices. Our Executive Director will be hands-on, serving as “player-coach” in a variety of capacities, and must be able to manage a lean, growing organization, and manage a large group of volunteers.
A FEW ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the Board of Directors and its committees, advising, informing, assessing, and addressing issues that affect the organization.
- Oversee the execution and growth of MedTech Color’s signature annual events and programs – the MedTech Color Pitch Competition, the MedTech Color Annual Networking Breakfast, and the MedTech Color Collaborative Community.
- Serve as the primary fundraising and development officer of the organization.
