DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES

The Director of Human Resources champions the Healthcare Alternative Systems, Inc. (HAS) culture and values, partnering with the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management Team to help build a strong, diverse, and collaborative organization. Reporting to the CEO, the Director of HR balances support and advocacy for staff with protection of the organization and management of risk. This position leads the Human Resources Team, which facilitates human resources administration and payroll, training and development, employee relations, and recruitment. The incumbent will develop, implement and streamline human resources processes while maximizing HR’s impact and ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations and best practices. The Director of HR will focus on optimizing the organization’s ability to recruit top talent, develop and retain a highly engaged workforce, and institute and foster effective talent and performance management practices and programs as they relate to the overall mission and vision of the organization.

Position requires a Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in human resource management, organizational development, business administration, or other related discipline and a minimum of seven (7) years of human resource management experience. PHR or SPHR certification highly desirable. The successful candidate will have experience managing and delivering human resources management in a behavioral health care and/or social services environment. This opportunity also requires proven leadership and a strong track record of strategically and successfully implementing human resources programs and initiatives including those pertaining to recruitment, compensation, labor relations, payroll and benefits administration with specific knowledge of the current laws and regulations governing these areas with proven ability to conceptualize and monitor HR related programs and initiatives in the context of broader business/organizational objectives.
