WTOP: 5 ways nonprofits can…
Dear Social Sector Colleagues,
As someone deeply committed to the advancement of the social sector, I can’t underscore enough the potential and profound impact artificial intelligence (AI) holds for organizations. In this era of rapid technological evolution, AI has risen to become a beacon of innovation, offering transformative change across every facet of business operations. Whether it’s streamlining processes, enhancing decision-making capabilities or unlocking new insights from data, the integration of AI technologies promises to revolutionize how nonprofits approach their missions. Embracing AI isn’t just about staying current with trends; it’s about empowering ourselves to adapt, innovate and ultimately amplify our impact in pursuit of our shared vision for a better world. Let me introduce you to a few low-lift AI tools that my colleague and Associate Search Consultant Luitze Capodici and I curated. These tools have been revolutionizing our workflow and could do the same for you in your organization. Need help assessing opportunities for your recruiters to use AI for process improvement and to create greater efficiencies? Luitze and I would love to connect with you for a 15-minute mini consult.
- ChatGPT 3.5 serves as a virtual assistant, akin to a professional secretary. It enables me to execute commands and orders efficiently. By crafting sophisticated prompts, I can divide projects into well-organized sections, streamlining the completion of complex tasks.
- ChatGPT 4.0 is my go-to tool for data gathering, thanks to its internet sourcing capabilities. It helps me find valuable information, which I use to create comprehensive databases.
- Anthropic Claude is another significant tool in my arsenal, especially for collecting empirical data, such as books, textbooks or analyzing video content from reputable sources like Stanford University courses. It facilitates the collection of detailed information, allowing me to train blank large language models on specific theories. This results in enriched conversations and aids in project management by anticipating potential outcomes.
- Notion AI and Perplexity AI are tools I use for internet connectivity and empirical data collection, similar to Claude. They enable me to access a wide range of information online.
- Imagica AI is a creative tool that allows for the generation of websites through voice commands. It utilizes AI models to convert spoken instructions into code, facilitating website creation.
- Botpress enables me to develop custom chatbots. By using insights from ChatGPT 3.5 and 4.0, I can customize these chatbots to conduct conversations within specific parameters, based on the data provided.
- Make.com is an automation platform I use to integrate APIs with various software platforms. This allows for seamless communication between systems and automates repetitive tasks.
- Formula Bot enhances Excel and spreadsheet functionalities. It provides advanced data insights and assists in solving complex problems or organizing formulas and data.
I encourage you to take the first step by experimenting with these tools yourself.
